The Frequent Fryer Program was a McDonald's Canada program that encouraged customers to buy fries and earn prizes. The program was a fun way to promote the MyMcDonald's Rewards app that included a scavenger hunt component for Frycons (fry-icons) hidden all across Canada – in digital and in real life placements. Frycons entered through the McDonald’s app gave users a chance to win prizes like FREE McShaker Fries and added stamps to their Frequent Fryer Passport. The more stamps earned in the Frequent Fryer Passport also gave users a chance to elevate their “Fryer Status” for additional prizes and bragging rights amongst your friends.
