RESULTS:
On September 22 and 23, approximately 200 boys and girls ages 9–18 from Coalinga-Huron Unified, Firebaugh, Mendota and Fresno received firsthand soccer training from
professional coaches, including former Men’s and Women’s US National Team players Clarence Goodson and Lori Lindsey, and got an up-close look at what it takes to
play soccer at a high level. Players rotated through a series of soccer stations, each focusing on a different skillset. Stations included small-sided games, attacking the goal and
finishing, ball skills, agility and fitness, and the Chevron STEM Zone, designed to inspired science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) learning through the science of soccer.
